Thank you @nceyedoc. I’ll always be a southerner

Welcome abroad. I’ve seen you on a few shows prior. Don’t be nervous! You are a super hero after all!
Lol! That’s right. I’m not a mere mortal. THANKS for the support
I have to say I have always loved it when you Skype in. It is great that you are on staff now. I have a sneaky idea that Leo likes having you sit next to him because it exaggerates his weight loss.
Also, you are the only TWIT host to make me cry. Your reaction to that photo thing was so subtle, but so profound and honest, I found myself crying, and I am a really tough broad.
I’ve always been a fan of the network and have to stop myself from just “watching” as if I was at my home. I’m truly honored to be on the squad. Yeah that photo AI project was crap. Pisses me off, but that’s where we are with this tech at the moment.
THANKS for being so supportive of me and the network, @Captain_Sam
Great Job love your introductory photography. This is exactly what is needed. I love photography and traveling. I will continue to listen to your show and all the other shows on the TWIT network. I download them and listen as I walk been doing it for years.
I started out watching Leo on Screen savers and proceed to his podcast.
I also listen in the car on my hour comumute .
Thanks for the support
. We’ll keep cranking out the good stuff
I kind of miss @ant_pruitt’s red dot
LOL, its the little things, J/K
Hello Ant,
I was out in my deer blind and I will say i would have not normally thought of taking a picture but listening to you on the way down on both HOP and FOP in the morning i decided to pull out my iPhone 8 and snap the frost in Wisconsin being melted off from the sunrise.
And you captured an OUTSTANDING picturesque moment. I really appreciate you listening to the shows. This is nicely done. I can feel the “peace” in it.
G’day Mr Pruitt
(Yay, autocorrect didn’t put Mr Print this time)
I’m in Canberra Australia, it’s too Smokey to leave the house without a mask. We are safe but prepared.
My question is this.
The sky is dark and a deep orange smoky haze is over everything with visibility down to 100 m.
When I take a shot with my iPhone 7 it tries to give me a blue sky and not the actual orange.
How can I tell it to stop doing a ‘white balance’ and show it how it is?
Noted, its not exactly an emergency considering what my fellow aussies are going through.
Regards
Hello. Sorry to hear about fires out there. I don’t know much about the iPhone. I wonder if there’s an HDR mode or auto mode turned on in the settings. Else, you’ll have to do some selective adjustments in Lightroom. Sorry
That’s the issue with computational photography… if you had a manual camera app such as Halide, you should be able to override that. I think the iPhone camera app tries to be too clever. I tried to take a photo of the haze in Adelaide the other week and it just does not show up at all.
Then you can be to Twit with Whiskey, what Mary-Jo is with beer
This Whiskey youtuber maybe worth checking out
I’m a fan of Ralfy
