I’m glad I’m not the only one. I was wondering if it was something I did… like follow him and not anyone else, or something.
I thought it might be an indicator of a different user group/role, like administrator, but it doesn’t indicate that. Might be a hidden group.
THANKS. Wasn’t SXSW, but I remember you, bro! I can’t remember what it was. Maybe CES or BABBQ.
I’ve been wondering, too!
THANKS, you’re so kind. Introverts rule!
I think it might be something @Leo did (by accident)? It kinda looks like it is possible to assign colours to topics and sub-topics and I think the hosts names are done like a topic.
I remember now, CES, they all blend together.
Congrats on the new gig, @ant_pruitt! I have always enjoyed when you were a guest on the network and the grounded approach you take to tech coverage.
Thank you very much
Just being me
So glad you’re part of the TWiT community Ant!
I’m really glad to be here. THANKS. Hope you’re doing well
@ant_pruitt @Leo Has there been an explanation given for this yet?
In Discourse each category gets a colour. Maybe whoever set up Ant’s category clicked on the wrong colour.
We’ve not found anything. But so far nothing has stopped me from successfully chatting here. (shrugs)
I set it up. Don’t remember a color option, though.
Welcome Ant! Nice to have a southern voice of reason. Don’t let the left coast change you buddy.
Yes! That’s exactly what happened. It’s fixed now. Thanks for the clue @Steve.
OK, that’s great @Leo. I actually just fired up Discourse locally using docker-compose to investigate further. Still an interesting exercise to do.
Discourse has a seeming infinitude of settings. It’s quite daunting. Fortunately the defaults are very good.
@ant_pruitt is true blue now!
