Google Titan Key Best Practices

Does anyone have any good best practices for the Google Titan Keys? I wonder about things like buying 3 so if you lose one or two, you are not dead in the water? Any ideas?

Generate a one time password and print it out and store it in your “safe”.

Get a second key and register both keys with each service and store that in your “safe”.

Whether that is a real safe, a safety deposit box, a lock box, a camoflaged container (E.g. in the shape of a torch or a book etc.) or the back of a cupboard doesn’t matter that much, just as long as it is kept safe and not immediately available to everybody to steal.
