I have had a similar problem with X where I could not upload photos. The common trait the photos that had the problem was that I had taken them on a newer phone and was trying to share them on the only old phone that I have X installed. If I try to upload them directly from Google’s cloud library thing they would reliably fail to post. However, if I download the photo(s) to the phone first, I will be able to upload them to X with no problem.
