You’d think it would be as easy as clicking a box called ‘send encrypted’ instead of a complicated setup process. Guess not. Glad I don’t have a need for encrypted email.

It COULD be really simple if you were restricted to only communicating with one service. A lot of the challenge is securely getting contact info for your contacts… because if you need the security, you need to know you’re talking with/to whom you actually intended and not someone pretending to be them.
If you want a fairly simple, secure, communication channel, you should check out the Signal app.
