I was never the biggest fan of shows doing best-of compilations from the past year, so this was a really nice show.
The stories in this episode were great! Hearing Paul’s story about getting bullied by Panos is really funny

Great show. Similar to Richard, my first weekend job was repairing and cleaning up computers at a local shop, in my case, it was a company that bought up bankrupt stock and resold it. Most of the computers were from companies that had gone bust and I had to check them out, clean them and re-install the OS. There was a huge variety of hardware available back then, a lot of Apple IIes, but also dozens of different CP/M machines from different manufacturers.
I was 13 at the time, and I also gave my first lessons to an old neighbour - he was over 80 and his daughter had visited him from Canada and left a Sinclair ZX81 behind, I took him through using it, loading a few programs and such, but he wasn’t really interested in it. With only 1KB, it was a little limited in what it could do and he didn’t want to learn to program it.

Yeah it was really fun to do something different this year. All the better because Richard and Paul were in the same spot (in front of a cozy fire, too!)
