Paul’s experience with AI coding is similar to my experience with some customer service humans. “Looks like you did that wrong” “No. I called you and you did it wrong. I didn’t do anything except use your service / buy your product” Or in government when someone gives you the wrong form and then says you filled out the wrong form.
It’s more understandable when an overworked human makes human mistakes (specially regarding listening). It’s less forgivable when an AI machine does a human error.
“Claude Just Wants To Write Code” wouild’ve been a great episode title. I didn’t get to the Thurrott Syndrome part yet. But I already think I suffer from Thurrott Syndrome
I hate the New Outlook but New Outlook on macOS is better than Legacy Outlook, sadly. Legacy Outlook on Windows is the GOAT though. I miss it. But I mostly get by with New Outlook.
I use FireFox and y’all’re right: People who use FireFox don’t do it by mistake, and are very opinionated. I moved to (back to) FireFox in May 2024 after Chrome’s design rubbed me the wrong way, and the move away to MV3 (which didn’t turn out to be so bad for what I do) and I’m definitely paying attention & opinionated on things.
This was very unexpected. Specially because Fortnite is Unreal Engine and probably the most popular Unreal Engine powered game of all time
