Who also listens to Stacey’s podcast on “The Internet of things”? She super-knowledgeable and it’s great if you want to go a little deeper into the subject.

I did, from time to time. Her insight into the subject seems excellent. However, I find it … different to listen to her on her own podcast in comparison to her regular guest appearance on TWIG, e.g. . On TWIG, Stacey sounds much more spontaneous and quirky while on her own show, less so. It’s more business-like there. Which makes sense, I guess. I like to listen to the quirky Stacey, y’all. Realizing this was when I discovered I sometimes like listening to the presenters themselves more than learning about one of the subjects they discuss. This goes for Stacey as much as for Leo, Jeff, Paul, Mary-Joe, etc. They could read a cook book and could make it sound entertaining, fun, and friendly. Does that sounds superficial? Certainly. Maybe it’s just that the TWIT network manages to create a pleasant listening experience that also happens to deal with topics I most of the times kind of find interesting.

Way too long post. A testament to the original posting, though…

PS: Don’t misread this in a way that I don’t value the substance of their content. That too. But the packaging is really what keeps me tuning back in and what I take away as podcasting methodology.

I don’t know why I waited so long to start listening to her podcast. She is great on TWiG and unsurprisingly she is also great on her own show, as is Kevin.

I do! I love listening to Kevin and Stacey! They even played my question about guest WiFi/best configuration of network for IOT devices on the listener question show last year.
