Great show.
A lot of us want to protect ourselves. I’ve used PiHole for years, although I switched to NextDNS this year, so that I could have the same protection when I am out and about. I block most tracking domains, which makes some sites unusable, but I just find other, less egregious sites instead.
I also switched my private domain to Proton this year, as Paul Thurrott has been talking it up all year. I am currently in the process of moving all the site registrations that I had on Microsoft and Google over to my private domain, or deleting older accounts that I don’t need any more, like FitBit or old mobile providers that I no longer use.

This was such a great episode! A wonderful encapsulation of the news of the year, and we all likely predict that 2026 will be a speedrun of 2025 with respects to AI and the facets of such.
