Interested in the copilot PC and Intel chat. I’ve just swapped a 12th gen Intel i7 laptop for a Snapdragon X Elite one and the difference is amazing. A bit like the Apple Intel to M1 change I guess.
Runs cool, much faster, low power so 20 hours+ battery life.
I did consider a Dell XPS with a Lunar Lake Core Ultra that is supposed to come close and has better graphics, but I thought I’d try a Snapdragon.
Very pleased that Luminar Neo has a native ARM version 
The only compatibility issue I’ve come across so far is Nikon’s software. Looks like their installer does a check it’s Intel, even though it would probably work with Prism.
Lunchtime and my laptop battery is 92%. Takes a bit of getting used to.

Re: the downfall of Intel - they hit the nail on the head. It didn’t happen overnight, but a decade+ of short-sighted decisions produced products that are simply inferior to the competition. If it weren’t for the decades of brand loyalty they’ve built up, they’d be in a much worse spot. Ignoring mobile was a big mistake, and thinking your CEO can turn an aircraft carrier around in 3 years is an even bigger one. I have no hope left for them. In 10 years they’ll be a cog in someone else’s machine. Sucks to suck I guess.
Re: the TikTok conversation - How often is it that 79 Senators and 2 Presidents agree on something? What do they know that we don’t? I’m just as dubious as anyone when DC says “trust us, you haven’t seen what we’ve seen”, but this kind of bipartisan consensus doesn’t just appear out of nowhere. The kids will be fine. They’re already on Instagram anyways, they’ll just use it more.
