TWIS 58: Starship Ahoy!

Beep boop - this is a robot. A new show has been posted to TWiT…

What are your thoughts about today’s show? We’d love to hear from you!

How does lifting off and then exploding exceed expectations?

It got off the ground, before it exploded?

I guess it is like writing a computer program. After execution the program crashes halfway through the process. Was part of it a “success” and did the developer learn anything? Complicated systems that are dependent on many components are difficult for humans to get completely right the first or second (or 10th?) time. Sometimes you just have to give it a go to learn what you have done right and what still needs work! At least, that is how I look at the launch.

I’ll give you that one, just not how I would like to test a new vehicle

I agree with that, for sure! I sure hope that a vehicle has been thoroughly tested for all aspects of it’s purpose before I get on board!
