I can see myself enjoying some AI music. Not the examples here, but at least one of them would just need to be regenerated a few times to land randomly on something I’d like.
Re: inspiration, it’s so much easier to edit and “fix” something that already exists than to start from scratch. Even if the end result has almost no resemblance to the preexisting material, or if that material is abandoned entirely midway through the project. It’s the powerful urge to correct something that is not as good as it could be, and it gets around “blank page syndrome.”
(In the same vein, one interesting piece of advice I’ve heard for writer’s block is to write something completely different from what you’re aiming for, something ridiculous that’ll annoy you into fixing it.)
Finding earbuds that are actually safe in the shower is frustrating and nearly impossible. Almost all of them that claim to be waterproof are not IP rated for shower-like conditions, just…sweat.
