TP Link Extender hand off mode

Hi in Twit land,

I have setup a tplink range extender, in a section of my house. So my new SSID is “Xxxx-EXT”.

However, I have to manually connect to it when I’m in that part of my house. Is this the normal method to connect to it ? Or can I have it setup where there is a seamless handoff ?

Does tp link range extender have handoff mode ?

changed the SSID to match the router’s and all is now working as it should. Thanks for the tip.
