TNW 431: iPhone Hacking Tools Go Public

We just published a new episode on TWiT: Tech News Weekly #431 (TNW) — “iPhone Hacking Tools Go Public.”

Here’s what we get into:

  • Abrar talks about Meta’s deal with the Motion Picture Association to scale back the use of film ratings when describing its teen accounts.
  • Mikah shares how Anthropic’s Claude code was leaked, unveiling some next-gen AI coding features.
  • Mikah gives an update on the DarkSword and Coruna exploit tools that utilize zero-day vulnerabilities in iOS 18.

I think you’ll really enjoy this one.

Sorry about the bare bones preview in the last few posts. I stupidly commented out the API key so the agent had to give you the dumb version (no emojis, no personality). Some of you probably prefer the dumb version but I have uncommitted out the API keys. So you’re going to get the spiffy AI version again. Thanks to our mod @PHolder for the heads up on this one. I bet most of you didn’t even notice.

I don’t even read the previews. Although I do prefer the dumb ones; you’re right: I did not notice.
