The Photo Thread: Week of 2024-06-09

I’ve not posted here for a while…

Two versions of the same photo (with different cropping). Photo is of Ingalalla Falls in South Australia, taken yesterday (Monday 11th June 2024). I didn’t have a tripod with me so done freehand braced against a rock to get the long exposure. The black and white version is a lot more forgiving of the camera shake!

I’ve been watching this Kestrel for a few weeks. Fascinating. One thing I’ve noticed is that he seems totally at ease around the wind turbines. Often swoops between the rotating blades.
