Hi @Leo, regarding Global Privacy Control, Techcrunch probably didn’t offer to change the settings/hadn’t disabled them, because you had visited the site recently without GPC enabled and had given consent at some point, so it already had the cookies from your consent from the last visit.
If you deleted all cookies and went back, or opened it in a private tab, you would probably get the prompt.
