Good for Cisco, but like Steve, I’ve been arguing for 30 years that ALL security and networking devices should be delivered in a hardened state and it is up to the administrators to weaken those devices where necessary.
One should always assume a security device is secure, unless you have messed up the configuration, that is its sole purpose. To deliver these devices in an insecure state is just insantity.
