SN 1017: Is YOUR System Vulnerable to RowHammer?

Beep boop - this is a robot. A new show has been posted to TWiT…

What are your thoughts about today’s show? We’d love to hear from you!

I wonder if this might be one of the earliest reverse canaries?

Early in the 20th century motor cars were rare in the UK, and local police were operating speed traps everywhere to catch them, often using dubious stopwatches borrowed from pawnbrokers. Roadside scouts for the Automobile Association were supposed to salute approaching cars bearing the AA’s big brass badge, but hold up their hand to stop the car if they knew there was a speed trap ahead - until one was successfully prosecuted for impeding the work of the police.

Reasoning that they couldn’t be prosecuted for an absence of action, the AA changed the instructions - and was not prosecuted again.
