Bought a new series 6 Apple Watch from Apple. It took 2 weeks for it to get here. In the meantime could have bought one for $100 less at Best Buy. Oh well… So the watch arrives, excitedly I go to set it up, & battery has zero charge. Not off to a great start on my 1st Apple Watch. I’ve never received an Apple product that didn’t have enough charge to turn it on & set it up.

Strange. That was not my experience getting 2 model SEs from Costco last month.
That is unusual! Perhaps it just sat in shipping for a wee bit too long. Sorry you had to charge it up first…delaying gratification is awful!

A decade ago, phones had to be charged for 12 hours or more, before you could use them (if you wanted the battery to last).
