I wanted to know what would be the ideal spot for locating a Ring Spotlight Cam Plus in a house with a front porch ?
Hmm, not quite sure what kind of advice you’re looking for here. I installed my surveillance cams in locations that I want to surveil 
Is there something specific about your house that makes it challenging to place the cameras?

Before deciding on a location. Be sure there is good internet connectivity. Good WiFi is important to make it work!
yes, I have verified their internet is solid
What about top right, under the edge of the porch? This will cover the porch area, front door, and anybody approaching. Will be a bit more covert then. Also avoids public areas and any privacy issues.
Or do you want to monitor the car?

I like that idea . I will give it a try and see ? I was thinking originally to the top left or top right of the main door entrance.
