Moto G56 Upgrade

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the new
Moto G56 with some upgraded features. It truly is a more bang for your buck cell phone.

Specs

There were some people who replied to my posts with concerns about my Moto G phone, so here is an update.

The Moto G56 now has a ip68/ip69 rating.

It has Night Light Mode to reduce eye strain & I have my phone set to Dark Mode. I never get eye strain even without it, so I don’t need an oled screen.

Upgraded Gorilla Glass from 5 to 7i.

Bigger Screen 6.72"

It has Eco Leather back which is non slip. I have always used a phone case so I could care less about the iPhone 17 Aluminum Frame & Glass Back.

The G56 comes with a clear plastic case but I use this one.

I have also never had a problem with MediaTek Dimensity.

Comes with Android 15 & its upgradable to 16 & 17 with 4 years of Security updates if you get the 8Gb ram with 256Gb Storage.

I like the fact that it is also a pure Android experience. That’s why I don’t like Samsung phones.

I know what the specs are for the iPhone 17 but for what you get for the price of the Moto G56 there really is nothing to complain about.

I agree. My Samsung S21 died earlier this year and I picked up a Motorola G Stylus and I think it is great. And like you stated above, very little extra junk installed.

In case you did not know the FM radio is not available in all markets, but

if you go to the Google Play Store & do a search for Moto fm radio you should see

an Enable button, just tap that & you will have the latest version of the FM Radio for your Moto G Stylus 2025.

All you need is wired ear-pods that connect to the 3.5 jack. it acts as an antenna.

Don’t forget about the moto implementation shake for the flashlight and rotate/tilt for the camera (among other gestures that moto did well).

I was surprised at just how cheap these phones are. This is at my local Costco

Being able to just buy a phone for $180 at Costco that’s likely “good enough” for what most people wanna do is pretty awesome.
