One thing about the rumoured cheap MacBook is that the M1 version is still for sale as a new product, that means that they will have to support it with OS updates for 4 or 5 years from now! If they can replace it with something with a different processor, they can stop having to extend the end of life for the M1 with macOS support.

Is Alex a republican? Or right-leaning person? I don’t care (in fact, I like having all views around) but I noticed it when he said he didn’t want to give his opinion on Trump.

That could also be for business reasons. As a company owner, he will be working with other companies whose decision makers are Republican and Democrat, it would be unwise of him to say something one way or the other.

I can’t recall Alex ever speaking negatively about Trump. He has had generally negative views on government, but I don’t think that equals disagreement with the current direction of the country. From my perspective, he seems very self-centered (or self-focused if you like) and only complains about actions or situations that negatively affect him personally.

Seems like he presents himself as a “both sides equally bad” person (which is a whole other reason this country is screwed up, but I digress).
Given that he believes Biden was censoring conservatives about COVID and his “Let’s tear down the White House if it makes my job easier” comments, he’d probably jump at doing an ICE propaganda video if the price was right.
