Andy’s microphone around the 20 minute mark (when he started talking about NotebookLM) was going haywire. I had to skip a little bit. I hope Andy’s mic isn’t misbehaving the entire time.
I felt bad having to skip over Andy’s talking… I’m just hella sensitive so crackling voice audio.
I try not to focus on it too much, and I didn’t have to keep skipping. But I’m not yet finished the episode. His microphone issues did seem to get better. (It came back briefly at 1h32m on youtube.)
I am very glad Apple is making the Contacts change. I’m a big believer in privacy but I also like convenience… I say that because: a month ago I was forced by Uber to share my entire Contacts list with them because I wanted to split the cost of the ride with a friend. I know my friend’s contact info, but Uber forced me to let it ingest all my Contacts. It made me feel very icky. But I still did it because it was easier than him having to pay me back (he’s American and I’m Canadian) in cash / paypal.
