As of the iPhone 17 the iPhones in Canada also have the mmWave radios inside them. Despite no carrier in Canada (yet) implementing mmWave (but next year the Canadian gov is auctioning off the spectrum) our iPhones have the radio / cut out at the top of the phone for it. As an aside, I don’t love the position of it because I used to really love the pristine flat edge of the top of the iPhone.
I haven’t been to a big US city in a long time but I’m eager to eventually experience mmWave
