Maximum detail from iPhone

I love shooting pictures with my iPhone 11 Pro. I want to try & get as much detail out of my images as possible. Towards that, what is the best app for getting maximum detail from my iPhone? Is it the built-in iPhone camera app or is there a better app that will pull out more detail? Or what about RAW format, is there an app that lets you shoot in RAW from your iPhone?
Thanks.

Well I’m not the expert, but still I wanted to say that you can’t get more detail out of a photo than the physics of the optics will allow. At the time of the recording, all the detail you will ever achieve is present on the sensor, and it’s presumably the software reading the sensor and interpreting it and converting it to the storage format that is causing any losses. So I presume you’re asking for the best software to capture all that data and not lose any of it in compression/storage. I am sure someone like @ant_pruitt will have plenty of advice, but my gut instinct is to recommend: Halide

I just discovered Halide like two minutes ago. It sounds like a winner. But, yes, I guess what I’m looking for is to grab as much data as possible in its purest form. That’s what made me think of RAW format. I will give Halide a try.

Yeah halide is cool if you are into raw with plenty of options for manual settings.
