Manual Overview of Cross Platform Web Activites

I am a cross platform user and I use a variety of devices. Gmail products for personal use and Microsoft products for use in my school as a teacher.

On the Google side, I can use my activity.google.com. Does Microsoft have a similar tool? How about Apple for iOS and MacOS?

Not sure what all the activity site on Google gives you, but the office.com site will show documents you’ve recently worked on if that’s what you’re interested in.

When I look at the site, it just shows my YouTube history… But I only use Gmail for signing up to sites I am not 100% sure are going to follow my rights and preferences for data protection, so they don’t clog up my real email.

In a desktop OS, activity really would have to be logged fairly granularly by the apps you would use, as only they know what you did. In MS office, for example, you can enable “track changes” and that would allow you to see some activity. (It’s been a really long time since I used it, but I used to use that feature in MS Word when I was sending out Feature Specification documents and getting back feedback from my reviewers.) Otherwise, I guess you’d just have to rely on file modification meta-data… some search tools can show you recently changed files in the file system, for example.
