I have $250 max for a office chair. Needs to be for big and Tall “Me” and comfy.
Everyone has their preferences. I need a new office chair too. But, I have to sit in each chair for like 20 min to see if it works for my back, Many chairs do not.
When I got divorced and moved into my condo, I had to buy a new dining room table and chairs. My son got fed up because I was at the store for like 2 hours, trying each individual chair model before I found the best one 
No one can recommend a good chair for me. What works for one, doesn’t always work for someone else. You probably should just go to Office Depot and try them all.

Agreed. I also went through a couple of “cheap” <$300 office chairs. In the end, I saved up and bought a “professional” chair, which cost around $700. This has lasted me much longer and is much more comforable than all of the other chairs I tried.
In the end, you need to test the chairs for a reasonable amount of time. Take that time, don’t be worried about sitting for 15 - 20 minutes in a chair, even if the salespeople don’t like it. At the end of the day, it is an investment in something that has to keep your body in a comfortable position for hours at a time.
Chairs, like beds, are something where I won’t cut corners or make false savings. I’m happy to spend a bit more to get something that is really comfortable. The cost per hour for a chair you will use for a long time, as opposed to a “cheap” chair that you will replace 2 - 3 times in the same period, because the upholstery wears out, of the mechanism fails or whatever means you got a really comfortable chair that you can live with for years.

Need to agree. Once you can get into an office supply store, you will need to do some testing.

So, that’s what I ended up doing. I braved Staples, sat in a bunch. Ended up choosing the Lazyboy Arcadian executive chair. on sale from 299.00 down to 199.00. They also knocked 20.00 more off for being the floor model. A few spays of Lysol, Good to go!! thanks guys. you were all right.
