HI I was wanting to now if anyone has ever used a hardware yubikey to login to their facebook account. I would like it if I could set up my yubikeys to login to my facebook account. I all ready have my yubikeys in my account . I tried doing what the video said through yubico to setup my yubikeys to login to my account but I found the video to go to fast. I have one of the yubikeys for facebook. I just don’t want to say witch yubikey I have just to be safe. Is it possible for someone to give me instructions step by step please I do much better with words and screenshots please.
If you’ve already added them to your Facebook account, it should ask you for them when you log in. Note that Facebook doesn’t support Yubikeys on mobile devices.
I think he means that he wants to log on with the Yubikey, instead of entering his password.

Yes, he is wanting to use the Yubikey as a Passkey for passwordless logon.
Yes that is what I want to do is use my yubikey as a two factor login to facebook. does my yubikey have to be set to one time passwords to login to my facebook account.

To be clear, for this to be two-factor, you would need to enter your Facebook password and use the Yubikey.

I have yubikey 5c with Nfc. How do setup my yubikey so I can use my yubikey to login to facebook without just using my facebook password.
I am just using my yubikeys on my computer not a mobile phone.
I all ready have two yubikey hardware keys that work on facebook but what I am having trouble with is that I do not now if my yubikeys are setup correctely. In the screenshot I am going to show is that the box is lit blue saying that I can login with my yubikey but my hardware key does not prompted me to insert it in after my password is entered into the password feild. I was also wondering I have the Yubico Manager and the Yubico Authenicator on my laptop. What I want to also now since I have two of the same yubikeys when I use my authenicator up to scan a qr code with my yubico authenicator how can I setup a second yubikey for my facebook account since I have all ready setup one yubikey for my facebook account. I have tried to watch the facebook video on the yubico website but it is a bit confusing some stuff in the video not not make sense. Maybe someone let me now how to setup up passkeys for facebook a possibly setup my yubico Authenicator to keep my yubikey logins in or where I can find the qr code so I can scan with my authenicator. But, is it possible that your browser is a “trusted device”? If you have told Meta at some point, that you trust this browser + PC combination, they might skip the MFA part of logging on. Have you tried an alternate browser or an incognita/private browsing window?

How do I now if my browser is a trusted device+pc. The reason I want to do the above is because I have bought these yubikeys and i would like to use them to protect my personal facebook accout If I can I would just like to go passwordless with my 5c Nfc yubikeys from yubico..com website. On the website their is a short video showing how you can use your yubikey to do passwordless login to your facebook account. Is their anyway to get more instructions on how to set this up. To test if the browser is trusted, use a different browser or use an incognito/private window.
Hi so I can not find out if my Microsoft edge browser is trusted without downloading a different browser.
