Noticed in podcast this morning a “bonus: You might Also like Morning Brew Podcast”. Given state of industry not going to push back on needed ad revenue, but in some odd way this felt intrusive? Might already be a thing as i recently switched to apple podcasts from overcast as recent overcast updates add a ton of features but found it buggy!
If I were to guess, this might be an Apple thing.

Apple Podcasts is a pain sometimes. When I get in the car and no podcasts are in my feed, it seems to pick a random podcast that has finished, but is still in the cache and plays that, even if I was listening to Audible, for example, before I got into the car, but I had been listening to podcasts the last time I was in the car…
Apparently it’s paid promotion by podroll as paid promotion to the creator.
