After it was announced that Dark Sky would be deprecated I started looking for a replacement weather app. I gave Apple’s new weather app a fair shake but it took too many taps to get the info that Dark Sky provided onscreen. I tried many of the apps listed on the show but still didn’t find one that gave me the info in a easy to consume manner, but also provided more information if I needed it. Then I heard a throw away line on a different podcast that mentioned Weather & Widget - Weawow. If I had known about this one earlier I would probably have replaced Dark Sky even without its’ closure. First app since the app store opened that I donated $ to the developer.
