Woke up early this morning to catch the Belgian Grand Prix only to find a worldwide internet outage preventing me from loading their page! Looks like a problem with Century Link (aka Level 3), a major backbone internet carrier throughout the world. My Ripe measurements show packet loss starting around 10:00 UTC

Looks like it was Steve’s pet peeve, a BGP misconfiguration on the Century Link/L3 backbone!
