Maybe it’s because I’ve never seen the Mad Max franchise, but half of that Gastown conversation sounded like a couple of kooks going back and forth.
But for me, I’m still in the “why would I want this” stage of Gastown. I feel my interactions with AI are going to be more “department director” level. I’ll tell the one AI what I want, and wait for it to build for me. Now, I’m not at the “build out this entire electron app” stage yet. I’m still at the “I need a PHP function that does this, and an SQL query to show me that” stage, so maybe I just don’t see it. But the idea of managing a “town” of AIs? Nah. AI can deal with all that crap internally, just send me the code.
