I am located in Central Europe. I was a yearly subscriber, which meant I had to deal with my credit card just once a year. It’s a hassle and pain to me, how can I financially support TWiT otherwise, with or without actual membership?
Since @Leo prefers monthly contributions, which I perfectly understand, would it be a good option to just pay a recurring amount via PayPal?
Are there other, possibly more simple or more beneficial ways to contribute financially?
The TWiT Tip Jar still exists, under the About entry on the web site menu https://twit.tv/about/tip-jar
It appears to offer the option of making one-time or monthly payments via PayPal, although I haven’t tried it.
Thanks for clarifying. The only issue was that, with using the link for the monthly payments did end with asking for credit card details, which I do not want to share.
However, using the one-time payment link, THEN making it a monthly payment does work without entering credit card details, using the available balance. I am now donating $7 a month, and feel fine.
We use a Patreon service (Memberful) to handle the club memberships etc. Unfortunately we’re limited to the payment methods they support. We’ve encouraged them to offer other ways to pay, especially for our International listeners.
Meanwhile, thanks for going the extra mile for us. I truly appreciate it. We all do.
