This episode is right on time. I have been looking into buying my first flash. I was told in the beginning not to worry about a flash because there is plenty to learn without it. I think that idea stayed with me for too long.

Thanks. I’m in the party that would tell people not to worry about flash in the beginning. It’s a different animal when one should worry more about good framing and understanding the exposure triangle. I’m still working on the next phase of the flash photography episodes. I’ll discuss use cases (again), placement, modifiers, power, constant light, etc. Will be a few episodes because it’s a lot to consider.
