HI I was wanting to now if I could ask some questions about totalav for windows. I was wanting to now does totalav for windows have real time protection enabled or do you have to have an account to get totalav real time protection for windows.
Is totalav for windows free no charge to download and use?
How reliable is totalav as a company?
Do all the features work in totalav for windows?

Never heard of this product.

It’s been my experience, if you’re a generally careful person, that all you need is what comes built into Windows for free. (aka Windows Defender)

I agree, privately I’ve used the Windows Defender for the last 6 years. At work we Sophos MDR.

I’d say you are either fairly careful and use Windows Defender, or you use a well known, trusted and reliable purchased system. I wouldn’t use some unknown AV tool.

Hmm, security.org review doesn’t sound so good. It failed to detect downloaded malware until it was accessed. I’d expect any half decent AV to scan the downloads as they arrive and flag them before they are opened. That is a complete fail for me.
