Back To The Office Issues

Big discussion concerning issues surrounding companies like Apple reversing the work-from-home trend. In regard to the high cost of housing in Silicon Valley, I was surprised no one brought up the option of corporate-owned housing. This was normal once for manual laborers, like miners, farm workers, etc. Maybe if Apple turned some of its design excellence to a Village that offered free or subsidized housing (and other on-site services) it would be attractive to some who WANT to live in the area and put in normal office hours but just can’t afford it. Everything from dorms, condos, tiny houses, and regular homes could be offered. Hell, take one floor of the half-empty flying saucer and turn it into apartments!
