Very interesting that Apple has resurrected the Windows XP browser ballot with version 18.2 of iOS and iPadOS.
I have updated 3 iPads and 2 iPhones this week and on all of them, I had to select my default browser the first time I opened Safari.

It’s not just iOS. Android has a similar screen since a few years, as announced in Presenting search app and browser options to Android users in Europe
