A Wiki Experiment: Group edit the ideal bookmarks starter list

So Discourse supports Wiki’s–collaborative spaces where anyone can edit for the benefit of all. Discourse has change tracking, so hopefully no one is inclined toward vandalism. So here’s my suggestion as an idea that allows us all to get familiar with this feature. Let’s pretend we want to give someone who just got their first phone/computer a starting list of bookmarks. Please add your essentials to the list, following the format. (Categories with lists of sites underneath, and any description/notes after.)

There should be a way to make this a “sticky” - otherwise it is just sinking down and down…

@Leo is there a way to pin this topic? I just tried doing it myself but I guess I don’t have the permissions.

I added Atlas Obscura because I thought it was a neat approach to finding interesting things in cities you might not know well. I found it when searching for information on Thor’s Well.

Added dafont.com - was looking for a fun typeface for Microsoft’s Terminal program and found this site offering simple .ttf and .otf files without the typical naggy/adware ridden interface.
