Jim Murray, likes his Canadian Rye. A few years back he named the Crown Royal Northern Harvest Rye as the best whiskey in the world. Since it was only $30 a bottle I got a bottle (and a few more since then). It was quite good, and I would happily drink it again, but to my pallet nothing is better than an Islay Scotch.
@ant_pruitt the Crown Royal might be easier to find than this, and should still be quite good… ifs you like rye
