I’m doing a quick survey which will help me with future episodes of HOP and FOP. Should take less than 60 seconds to complete. NO email address required. Thx for completing it and sharing it with others interested in photography.
Thank you, @Donl66. Hey you don’t have to way to go shooting. Just go ahead and start clicking the shutter on things that tickle your fancy. I’m going to eventually ask for photo submissions as part of the show discussion/sessions.
Again, THANKS for the support
I’m probably not the best person to take this survey. Every time I try to edit, they come out looking really terrible and I never seem to even be able to accomplish whatever it is I set out to do. Normally I just settle for the automagic enhance and leave it at that.
I tend to run a half week or so behind on TWiT shows so haven’t seen HOP or FOP yet, but given how much I’ve enjoyed and learned from your past TWiT appearances I’m expecting I’ll love your shows.
I’ve been using the Corel family of image & video editing solutions for decades (Paint Shop Pro, After Shot & Video Studio, formerly from JASC & Ulead). I like learning about the other more mainstream editing software and very often find I can use the techniques with the Corel products.
Thanks. And to an extent, the editors do offer the same fundamentals. Just a few things set them apart. Thanks again for completing the survey and being a subscriber, Paul
I use Paint.net. It’s my Photoshop alternative of choice. It is free and feature rich with all the add on extensions. I have been using it for years. I use Snapseed for my quick Lightroom alternative type edits on my phone.
done Ant. Good luck with the shows, I know less than 0 about photo editing and even less about taking good photos. teach me obi wan, you’re my only hope
Done as well. I’ve been using Paint Shop Pro since it was Jasc. Mostly used for creating graphics or working on fractals, but occasionally editing (crop, adjust contrast/brighten, sharpen). I have Photoshop, but very rarely use it. Oh, also use PSP for repairing damaged old photos that I’ve scanned.
how’s your experience with LR mobile on iPadOS? I swear I can’t get used to the “file system” on my iPad. I’m an Android guy. But I wanted to give iPad a try for workflow. (sighs) I just want to edit raw files from my camera if I download it from the cloud to the iPad. Seems like it’s been a convoluted process.
I think it depends on the app and whether they can see the “On My iPad” folder or not. I have used a few apps that can and you can access files downloaded there in other apps. You can even create folders there.
