Paul, you mentioned the hot reload mess again in this episode. While I agree with you that it got blown out of proportion and was more likely a priority thing than a “let’s screw the open source guys” thing, it is a little bigger than you make it out to be.
The CLI is not just some toy that the 12 people using .net on Linux is using, anyone using Visual Studio Code is building via the CLI, since that is the integration point for Code.
