Why Are You Still Using Android?

I have 2 perspectives on this:

My Personal Phone:
My personal phone is Android and for me it’s a cost thing. My price ranges are usually around the $350-$450 AUD mark and I upgrade every 2 years and prefer new phones. Right now I’ve moved from the Nokia 6 to the Nokia 8.1 (Heavy discounts when I got them)

My Work:
I am currently employed to build mobile apps for both iOS and Android and I find working in the Android ecosystem much more frustrating to me than working in iOS for the same reasons that it’s so much more freeing. Most new prototypes my team will build will always be iOS first, Android second. Quick Note: The new Android OS adoption rate has been my biggest thorn in the industry. Lookup the Google release cadence vs the manufacturer release cadence which can take ages between OS updates (There’s still people a LOT of people using Android 6 in 2019! - AUS stat)
