What do you use to navigate? Google or Waze?

Google when going around town, Waze when leaving town and driving on the highway.

Waze is no good for me. It told me that I had arrived at my destination when I was on an elevated road. My destination was actually on the lower part of the road (almost underneath where I was). It has done that a few tones around here. Google Maps was fine.

Seems almost to be an issue with the GPS sensor. Weird it would only happen with Waze and not Google though.

No, not the GPS sensor. Waze doesn’t know that the two roads are not intersecting but are in different levels.

I use Google Maps and have to type more to get to 20 characters

Neither as both use data which isn’t good on a PAYG sim. I use a slightly out-of-date Tom Tom along with a map here in the UK.

Did you see my recommendation above? MapFactor is a pretty decent offline navigator that is free to use (it will occasionally nag you to buy maps but you never need to.) You just need to update it on WiFi now and then to keep the maps current (they come from Open Streetmap, which is like Wikipedia for map data.)

Both my cars have built in Navigation, so I don’t use either! If I need to look up a location outside of the car, I pull up Apple Maps which is getting pretty good
