What do you think of DNS over HTTPS?

So I should also install Simple DNSCrypt?
I installed the package I mentioned earlier following this- https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy/wiki/Installation-Windows
Didn’t see anything about Simple DNSCrypt.

Yeap I can verify it works fine.

If you are a Windows user yes (the only other GUI I have seen has been abandoned but works fine in my XP rig).

My blog post has plenty of screenshots of the relevant sections in Simple DNSCrypt, as it gives you a good visual idea of the features in the proxy client for all users.

Ok I installed Simple DNSCrypt over the other one and seems fine.

I should apologise for the confusion.
For clarity:
The DNSCrypt proxy client runs as a regular system service. As such it does not have an interface.
For controlling it you issue commands the same way you do with other system services.
To make things easier, people have made a few front-ends such as Simple DNSCrypt.

My only complaint about Simple DNSCrypt is that it is made with .net and is a bloatfest.
If it was made with Qt5 for example, it would be small and it could be rolled for many OSs so we could have a consistent experience across systems.
