I’m really surprised the GTA VI leaks weren’t discussed. It’s a very active/continuing story that’s not all about AI. Maybe not the right panel? I’m sure Paul will discuss it on Windows Weekly.
I was surprised at the reaction to the lawsuit against Facebook. Leo compared the issue to alcohol, tobacco and gambling addictions. He glossed over the fact that the problems have been with social media manipulating minors, a group that society has decided cannot choose to drink, smoke, gamble, get a tattoo or vote. We let adults make decisions others might not agree with, but we don’t let people target minors for these adult past times with lasting consequences. Leo tried to make it about age verification, but I agree with Father Robert, these services knowingly targeted minors. Age verification was not a factor, because Facebook built a profile - they were fully aware of who they were advertising to.
