@Leo mentions wasting phone scammers’ time by giving them an AI to talk to, and cites the example publicised by British telephone network O2. However, I wonder if O2 may have grabbed all the limelight a bit unfairly, as the idea was developed by the Jolly Roger Telephone Company, and if you look at the bottom of their US robots page you will see a Crazy Mazy… they also provide a service for UK numbers, although no Crazy Mazy listed there.
