Turbotax and Windows 10

Not sure if anyone else has already said it, but I would say use TurboTax through the browser…

@AaronK @glasspilot @JamesC_HTAssets You guys assume way too much and BTW it is more likely the IRS will suffer from a data breach than you or your tax software vendor. I can only speak about TurboTax but they undergo Federal reviews for their own software in many countries where privacy and data safeguards must be adhered to at all times and some of them go as far as exposing where the data is stored and exported, even going as far as measuring the security of the tax regulators and their own server deployments before the tax season begins. You can get this impression and detailed evaluation from the Canada Revenue Agency as an example.

If you do have a concern, then obviously the only thing that would actually protect you is a paper return sent by mail.
