an interesting topic about cat cables. although you can find conflicting material about the distance of a certain cable type and speed, not all cables are fully up to spec. I would not take the numbers Scott quoted as ‘bible’.
In general I would say Leo’s cable puller made a good choice as in a home you can probably go 10gbps with cat 6a. if it actually is F/UTP (foil shielded) grounding could present some issues going forward.
And I’m not sure how many listeners will be using the cat 8 as it is targeted to 40gbps equipment.
