From all accounts it was very good.

However, being more of a chocolate fan I was digging this cake made by my niece instead

I can understand that. Not a fan of lemon meringue myself. I would have headed straight for the chocolate.

@andrewmelder great photo.

IMHO, the top of the BHP building (aka Brookfield Place) spoils skyline shots, and with river shots the “whale shed” (aka Perth Convention and Entertainment Centre) is just as bad a spoiler. I just hope one day they disappear for good 🙂

The BHP building is much like the mining industry itself; technically impressive but not very pretty.

That convention centre is an ugly cockroach though 😆
