How far north in northern Germany are you? I’m surprised by the amount of green and leaves on the trees. I’m in Wisconsin and would think our seasons would be about the same.
Looking forward to tonight…5+ inches of snow are possible.
Weather is a complex thing, but one big thing that makes a difference to weather in northern Europe is the jet stream, which tends to distribute warm air further north than you find in the US. But it does move about, which can produce bigger weather variations in the course of a season.
Edited: I should have said “in many parts of the US”. It’s such a big country with multiple weather systems that I shouldn’t have over-generalised like that.
I don’t usually edit pictures or if I edit it’s mainly basic things with Google photos or Snapseed. It really was so foggy
I like your photo too, but I posted that question in reply to @scottb.

Wow.
It’s like a hero shot for a disaster movie poster.

The Castro Theatre.
I did not see any shows here but I can say that around the bend, roughly 0.4 miles away at 16th Street there is a chicken rice place called Gai Chicken Rice . As an Asian, i will confess that it has one of the best chicken rice i have ever had in my 36 years of living.
Thank you. I took the photo with my Pixel 3a and used Google Photos to do some editing, done all on the phone.
Life in the foreground, bravery in the middle and death right behind.
Chills!
Thanks. I like the way it turned out.
Welcome. Photo = YIPES!
Upgraded from iPhone XS to 11 Pro last week and went to the Rangers/Wild game last night. Used portrait mode for this.
Wow! Is this the high res version? Because I would love that for my desktop wallpaper!
Cheers thank you!! And I will pass on the yipes
i believe it is high res enough, unless your screen is higher than 2016px × 1512px
Great to see another hockey fan
After watching the latest HOP thought I’d try out some more editing. This was a visit to NYC years ago. Nikon D80 and numerous edits in Luminar.
A decent shot from what was the worst concert I’ve ever been to. U2 should just give it up before they ruin more memories in my opinion

This was part of an arts festival known as Urbanscapes, location is at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre.
The yellow house is called a “rumah kampung” (rumah = house , kampung = village). During the olden days, most of these rumah kampung is made out of wood and depending on the builder; some times no nails is used in the construction of the wooden house.
Additionally, villagers literally shifted their homes. Thus pictured in the photo above was our (i was part of the team) nostalgic way to commemorate the event of moving house.
